Diane Frank

Diane Frank has more than ten years of experience as a legal assistant, including work for a large immigration firm in San Francisco.  Diane was first employed by the law firm on a regular basis from 1994 until 1997.  Since then, she has continued to provide assistance on a temporary basis.  Diane also teaches two courses each year in the Professional Writing Department of Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, where she is an Associate Professor.

Diane has a Bachelor's degree in English Composition and Psychology from Syracuse University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, in 1972. She also received a Master's in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University in 1981.

Diane's new novel, Blackberries in the Dreamhouse, has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize.  She is the author of four books of poems, including The Winter Life of Shooting Stars and The All Night Yemenite Cafe. She is a documentary scriptwriter with expertise in Eastern and sacred art, and many of her students have won awards for their writing.
