Experience

James D. Pearson first handled immigration matters in 1976, and has been practicing primarily in the field of immigration and naturalization law since 1983. Mr. Pearson is licensed to practice law in Iowa and Arkansas, and is a past Chair of the Iowa-Nebraska Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.  He also has served as Chair of the Immigration Committee of the International Law Section of the Iowa State Bar Association

Service

The goal of the law office of James D. Pearson, P.C., is to provide the best service possible with as little inconvenience to clients as necessary. The law firm has an excellent staff of legal assistants to serve clients. Hanneke Remond has four Master's degrees and has been with the firm since 1991.  Diane Frank has a Bachelor's degree in English Composition and Psychology from Syracuse University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, a Master's degree in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University, and first worked for the firm in 1994.  Gloria Proksch has a Bachelor's degree and joined the firm in 1999.  Mary Holm has a Master's degree and joined the firm in 2000.

Location

The law office of James D. Pearson, P.C., is located in a small town in Southeastern Iowa, a predominantly rural state in the Midwest region of the United States. Because the cost of operating a law firm is less in a small town than in a big city, the firm is able to provide its services at a savings to clients.
